Overview

The Matrix Plot is made up of individual scatter plots for several variables. It is useful for visualising the relationship among many variables, pairwise, all in the same chart.

Note: Limited to 10 variables at one time.

How to

At the Excel Menu (For Excel 2007, go to Add-ins first)

  1. Choose ProcessMA > Graphs > Matrix Plot

  2. In Variables, select the columns containing the data (Numeric, >=2 Variables)

  3. Check Plot Partial, if you want to plot lower half the matrix plot only

  4. Click OK

  1. Open data worksheet by choosing ProcessMA > Tools > Data

  2. Choose ProcessMA > Graphs > Matrix Plot

  3. In Variables, select G - Sales, H - Reps, I - Marketing, J - Products
