Overview

The Pie Chart can be used to visualise the contribution of various categories to the whole.

 


 

How to

At the Excel Menu (For Excel 2007, go to Add-ins first)

  1. Choose ProcessMA > Graphs > Pie Chart

  2. In Variable, select the column containing the data (Numeric)

  3. In Frequency, select the column containing frequency counts (Optional, Integer)

  4. In % To Comine, enter value to combine categories with percent contribute less than or equals to it (Optional, Numeric, >0, <1)

  5. Click OK

 

 

Example

You are the sales manager and you have collected past 3 months data on the sales made by various account managers. You want to use the Pie Chart to visualise the contribution to sales by the various account managers working for you.

  1. Open data worksheet by choosing ProcessMA > Tools > Data

  2. Choose ProcessMA > Graphs > Pie Chart

  3. In Variable, select F - Account Manager

  4. Click OK
