The Scatter Plot plots observations based on its x and y coordinates.
At the Excel Menu (For Excel 2007, go to Add-ins first)
Choose ProcessMA > Graphs > Scatter Plot
In Variable (Y), select the column containing y variable data (Numeric)
In Variable (X), select the column containing x variable data (Numeric)
Click OK
You want to model the relationship between the size of the valve and the speed of the machine. You collected data on various settings of the valve size and the resultant speed of the machine. You want to visualise the relationship in a Scatter Plot.
Open data worksheet by choosing ProcessMA > Tools > Data
Choose ProcessMA > Graphs > Scatter Plot
In Variable (Y) , select O - Speed
In Variable (X) , select P - Valve
Click OK
