At the Excel Menu (For Excel 2007, go to Add-ins first)
Choose ProcessMA > Quality Tools > Sigma Calculator
Enter number of opportunities in Cell D6 and number of defects in Cell D7
Results will be displayed in Cells D10:D13
Your factory produces 4000 capacitors a day and of which 23 are defective. Calculate the sigma performance.
