Overview

 

The Time Series Plot plots observations in the order of time.

 

 

 

 

 

How to

 

1.       Choose ProcessMA > Graphs > Time Series Plot.

 

2.       In Variable, select the column containing the data.

 

3.       In Time stamp, select the column containing the time data.

 

4.       Click OK.

 

 

Note       To select a column of data into a textbox, double-click on any of the column names shown in the list on the left of the dialog box while in the textbox.

 

 

 

 

 

Data

 

Variable: Numeric.

               

Time stamp: Date/Time format.

 

 

 

 

 

Example

 

You gathered sales data for the last 24 months.  You want to use the Time Series Plot to see the performance for the past 24 months.

 

1.       Open worksheet ProcessMA > Tools > Data Files > Sample.xls.

 

2.       Choose ProcessMA > Graphs > Time Series Plot.

 

3.       In Variable, select F – Revenue.

 

4.       In Time stamp, select G – Month.

 

5.       Click OK.
